What an RTP
review checks.
Return to player is a theoretical measure over many rounds. Reviewing a published value requires the correct game maths and configuration.
Identify the exact game.
A game name alone is insufficient. Provide the software version, the stated RTP, and each configuration you want examined. The value players see should correspond to the configuration offered to them.
Compare claim and model.
The review compares the stated return with the mathematical model and supporting documentation supplied for that version. The scope, method, and output should be agreed before work starts.
Understand what RTP cannot say.
An RTP figure describes theoretical long term return. It does not predict the outcome of a player session or guarantee a particular result in a small sample of rounds.
Confirm the intended use.
If a market or partner requires a specific test report or accredited certification, confirm those requirements before commissioning the review. A Kankur review does not itself grant regulatory approval.
